Ever have one of these days?

Have you ever been in charge of implementing a totally ridiculous program in your workplace? Have you ever known ahead of time which employees would give you a hard time over it?
Have you ever had to put on your game face, and charge ahead with the rollout, even though you knew that every word you were saying was totally insane?

I've had to do that before.
So has Rep. Russ Carnahan, (Mommy Party - Missouri)

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rep. Carnahan, and we all wish him a speedy recovery.

I think we should demand that our lawmakers and government workers have the same insurance and pay the same high premiums and deductables the rest of us pay. I think we could save more money if we take away their pensions too.

As far as the cbo figures, they are showing you projections but not for any bills that have been passed.

Just think if we took all the money the insurance companies spend on lobbiest, campaign contributions to buy votes, and CEO bonuses we could pay for a national health care system.

This is part of the reason the 17th Amendment needs to be repealed. This would return the selection (and recall) of Senators to a state selected entity (committee, legislature, whatever) and remove it from a democratic-style popular vote. Thus ending a lot of expensive lobbying and campaigning.

At least for now. There's always a way around everything, and someone will figure out a way.

Don't think so.
Go to YouTube (or Google), and put in "Carnahan" and "Healthcare".
